حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ وَوَكِيعٌ قَالَا: حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ عَنْ شُبَيْلِ بْنِ عَوْفٍ قَالَ: قَالَ عُمَرُ:
مَنْ مُؤَذِّنُوكُمْ ؟ قَالُوا: عَبِيدُنَا وَمَوَالِينَا قَالَ: إِنَّ ذَلِكَ لَنَقْصٌ بِكُمْ كَبِيرٌ.
