✧ A man who swears by other than Allah or by his father

حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْأَحْوَصِ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ قَالَ: قَالَ عُمَرُ:
حَدَّثْتُ قَوْمًا حَدِيثًا، فَقُلْتُ: لَا وَأَبِي، فَقَالَ رَجُلٌ مِنْ خَلْفِي: لَا تَحْلِفُوا بِآبَائِكُمْ، قَالَ: فَالْتَفَتُّ، فَإِذَا رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ، فَقَالَ: لَوْ أَنَّ أَحَدَكُمْ حَلَفَ بِالْمَسِيحِ لَهَلَكَ، وَالْمَسِيحُ خَيْرٌ مِنْ آبَائِكُمْ
