أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَمْرَوَيْهِ الصَّفَّارُ بِبَغْدَادَ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الصَّغَانِيُّ ثَنَا رَوْحُ بْنُ عُبَادَةَ ثَنَا شُعْبَةُ عَنْ أَبِي التَّيَّاحِ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ مُطَرِّفًا يُحَدِّثُ أَنَّهُ كَانَتْ لَهُ امْرَأَتَانِ فَجَاءَ إِلَى إِحْدَاهُمَا قَالَ فَجَعَلَتْ تَنْزِعُ عِمَامَتَهُ وَقَالَتْ جِئْتَ مِنْ عِنْدِ امْرَأَتِكَ؟ فَقَالَ جِئْتُ مِنْ عِنْدِ عِمْرَانَ بْنِ حُصَيْنٍ فَحَدَّثَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ «أَقَلُّ سَاكِنِي الْجَنَّةِ النِّسَاءُ»

✧ I heard Mutarrif narrate that he had two wives. He went to one of them, and she began to remove his turban and said: "Have you come from your other wife?" He said: "I have come from 'Imran b. Husayn, who narrated from the Prophet ﷺ that he said: 'The least of the inhabitants of Paradise are women.'"
