al-Mustadrak (al-Hakim) 8762

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Indeed, the sea is Jahannam.” They said to Ya'la: Allah ﷻ said, {a fire whose tent encloses them} [al-Kahf 29]. He said: “By the One in Whose hand is my soul, I will never enter it until I meet Allah, and not a drop of it will touch me.”

• هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَمَعْنَاهُ أَنَّ الْبَحْرَ صَعْبٌ كَأَنَّهُ جَهَنَّمَ وَلِذَلِكَ فَرْعٌ عَلَى إِخْرَاجِ حَدِيثِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّ تَحْتَ الْبَحْرِ نَارٌ وَتَحْتَ النَّارِ بَحْرٌ فَأَمَّا النَّارُ فَإِنَّهَا تَحْتَ السَّابِعَةِ وَقَدْ شَهِدَ الصَّحَابَةُ فَمَنْ بَعْدَهُمْ عَلَى رُؤْيَةِ دُخَانِهَا صحيح
