✧ I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say in one of his prayers: "O Allah, call me to account with an easy reckoning." When he finished, I said: "O Messenger of Allah, what is the easy reckoning?" He said: "He will look into his record and pardon him for it. Indeed, whoever is scrutinized in the reckoning, O 'A'ishah, will perish on that day. And whatever afflicts the believer, Allah expiates for him, even the thorn that pricks him."
