✧ We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ on a journey and passed by a tree containing two chicks of a small red bird. We took them. He said: The small red bird came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ crying out. The Prophet ﷺ said, “Who has distressed this one by taking her chicks?” He said: We said, “We did.” He said, “Return them.”
