✧ The name of Abu Hurayrah is Sikkin. Thus the disagreement concerning the name of Abu Hurayrah has settled on nine forms, the most correct of which, in my view, is 'Abd Shams in the Jahiliyyah and 'Abd al-Rahman in Islam. Likewise, the year of his death is also disputed.
