✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ caught up with me on the day of Dhu Qarad and looked at me, then said, "O Allah, bless him in his hair and his skin," and said, "May your face prosper." I said, "And your face, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "Was Mas'adah killed?" I said, "Yes." He said, "Then what is this on your face?" I said, "An arrow that struck me, O Messenger of Allah." He said, "Come closer." So I drew near to him, and he spat on it, and it never hurt me afterwards, nor did it fester.
