✧ Ka‘b b. Malik was present at al-‘Aqabah and gave allegiance to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ there. He said: We set out among pilgrims from Madinah. Al-Bara’ b. Ma‘rur said to us, “O you people, I have seen a dream, and by Allah I do not know whether you will agree with me about it or not.” He said: We said, “What is that?” He said: “I have seen that I should not leave this building behind me.” And he mentioned the hadith at length. “I think I have already related it in the account of al-Bara’ b. Ma‘rur ؓ.”
