حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو الْعَبَّاسِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْمُنَادِي ثَنَا يُونُسُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْمُؤَدِّبُ ثَنَا عَبْدُ الْوَاحِدِ بْنُ زِيَادٍ ثَنَا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ حَكِيمٍ حَدَّثَتْنَا الرَّبَابُ جَدَّتِي عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ حُنَيْفٍ قَالَ
مَرَرْتُ بِسَيْلٍ فَدَخَلْتُ فَاغْتَسَلْتُ فِيهِ فَخَرَجْتُ مِنْهُ مَحْمُومًا فَنَمَى ذَلِكَ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ «مُرُوا أَبَا ثَابِتٍ فَلْيَتَصَدَّقْ» سكت عنه الذهبي في التلخيص

✧ I passed by a flood and entered it and bathed in it, and I came out of it feverish. That was reported to the Prophet ﷺ, and he said, "Tell Abu Thabit to give charity." Al-Dhahabi remained silent about it in his Talkhis.
