حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ صَالِحِ بْنِ هَانِئٍ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ رَجَاءَ ثَنَا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ الْمُنْذِرِ الْحِزَامِيُّ ثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ إِسْحَاقَ بْنِ يَحْيَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ عَمِّهِ مُوسَى بْنِ طَلْحَةَ
أَنَّ طَلْحَةَ نَحَرَ جَزُورًا وَحَفَرَ بِئْرًا يَوْمَ ذِي قَرَدٍ فَأَطْعَمَهُمْ وَسَقَاهُمْ فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ «يَا طَلْحَةُ الْفَيَّاضُ» فَسُمِّيَ طَلْحَةَ الْفَيَّاضَ حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخَرِّجَاهُصحيح

✧ Talha slaughtered a camel and dug a well on the Day of Dhu Qarad, and he fed them and gave them water. The Prophet ﷺ said: "O Talha the Generous." So he was named Talha al-Fayyad.
