✧ A brother of Bilal claimed Arab descent and asserted that he was one of them. He proposed to an Arab woman, and they said, 'If Bilal attends, we will marry her to you.' So Bilal attended and said, 'I am Bilal b. Rabah, and this is my brother. He is a man of bad character and religion. If you wish to marry him, then do so; and if you wish to leave the matter, then leave it.' They said, 'Whoever is your brother, we will marry to him.' So they married her to him.
