أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْفَارِسِيُّ ثنا يَعْقُوبُ بْنُ سُفْيَانَ ثنا ابْنُ بُكَيْرٍ سَمِعْتُ مَالِكَ بْنَ أَنَسٍ يَقُولُ

«إِنَّ مُعَاذَ بْنَ جَبَلٍ هَلَكَ وَهُوَ ابْنُ ثَمَانٍ وَعِشْرِينَ سَنَةً وَهُوَ إِمَامُ الْعُلَمَاءِ بِرَتْوَةٍ»

Translation
