✧ On the day of Badr, the people gathered around Umayyah b. Khalaf. I approached him and noticed a piece of his armor had broken from under his armpit. He said, 'I thrust at him with the sword in that spot and killed him. I was shot with an arrow on the day of Badr and it put out my eye.' 'The Messenger of Allah ﷺ spat in it and supplicated for me, and it never harmed me thereafter.' Its chain is authentic, but they did not include it. 'Abd al-'Aziz b. 'Imran—they weakened him.
