أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْعَنَزِيُّ ثنا عُثْمَانُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الدَّارِمِيُّ ثنا أَبُو الْيَمَانِ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ عَيَّاشٍ ثنا عَطَاءُ بْنُ عَجْلَانَ عَنْ عِكْرِمَةَ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ عَنْ أُمِّ الْفَضْلِ قَالَتْ

دَخَلَ عَلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَأَنَا أُرْضِعُ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ بِلَبَنِ ابْنٍ كَانَ يُقَالُ لَهُ قُثَمُ قَالَتْ فَتَنَاوَلَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَنَاوَلْتُهُ إِيَّاهُ فَبَالَ عَلَيْهِ قَالَتْ فَأَهْوَيْتُ بِيَدِي إِلَيْهِ فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَا تَزْرِمِي ابْنِي» قَالَتْ فَرَشَّهُ بِالْمَاءِ قَالَ ابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ «بَوْلُ الْغُلَامُ الَّذِي لَمْ يَأْكُلْ يُرَشُّ وَبَوْلُ الْجَارِيَةِ يُغْسَلُ»

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ entered upon me while I was nursing Husayn b. Ali with the milk of a son called Qutham. She said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ reached for him, so I handed him over, and he urinated on him. She said: I reached out my hand to him, but the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: "Do not interrupt my son." She said: So he sprinkled him with water. Ibn Abbas said: "The urine of a boy who has not eaten is sprinkled, and the urine of a girl is washed."
