✧ And Yunus b. Matta, whom Allah named Dhu al-Nun, said: {And Dhu al-Nun, when he went off in anger and thought that We would not decree for him, then he called out in the darkness: "There is no god but You, glory be to You; indeed I have been of the wrongdoers"} [al-Anbiya' 87]. Allah answered him and saved him from distress, from three darknesses: the darkness of night, the darkness of the sea, and the darkness of the belly of the whale. He spent the night with his people, and He sent him to a hundred thousand or more, and they believed, so Allah let them enjoy until their appointed terms which He had written for them, and did not destroy them with punishment.
