حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُحَمَّدِ أَحْمَدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الْمُزَنِيُّ ثنا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ الْحَضْرَمِيُّ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ يُونُسَ ثنا زُهَيْرٌ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ فَرْوَةَ بْنِ نَوْفَلٍ الْأَشْجَعِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ
أَنَّهُ قَالَ لِلنَّبِيِّ ﷺ مُرْنِي بِشَيْءٍ أَقُولُهُ فَقَالَ إِذَا أَوَيْتَ إِلَى مَضْجَعِكَ فَاقْرَأْ {قُلْ يَا أَيُّهَا الْكَافِرُونَ} [الكافرون 1] إِلَى خَاتِمَتِهَا فَإِنَّهَا بَرَاءَةٌ مِنَ الشِّرْكِ

✧ He said to the Prophet ﷺ, 'Command me with something I should say.' He said, 'When you retire to your bed, recite: {Say, O disbelievers} [Al-Kafirun:1] to its end, for it is a disavowal of polytheism.'
