حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَعْقُوبَ الْحَافِظُ إِمْلَاءً ثنا حَامِدُ بْنُ أَبِي حَامِدٍ الْمُقْرِئُ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ سُلَيْمَانَ ثنا عَنْبَسَةُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ وَعَمْرُو بْنُ أَبِي قَيْسٍ وَغَيْرُهُ عَنِ الْمِنْهَالِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ سَعِيدِ بْنِ جُبَيْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ ﷻ {وَكَانَ عَرْشُهُ عَلَى الْمَاءِ} [هود 7] قَالَ
«كَانَ عَرْشُ اللَّهِ عَلَى الْمَاءِ ثُمَّ اتَّخَذَ لِنَفْسِهِ جُنَّةً ثُمَّ اتَّخَذَ دُونَهَا أُخْرَى حَتَّى أَطْبَقَهَا بِلُؤْلُؤَةٍ وَاحِدَةٍ» فَقَالَ عَزَّ مِنْ قَائِلٍ {وَمِنْ دُونِهِمَا جَنَّتَانِ} [الرحمن 62] قَالَ «وَهِيَ الَّتِي لَا تَعْلَمُ الْخَلَائِقُ مَا فِيهَا» قَالَ وَهِيَ الَّتِي قَالَ اللَّهُ ﷻ {فَلَا تَعْلَمُ نَفْسٌ مَا أُخْفِيَ لَهُمْ مِنْ قُرَّةِ أَعْيُنٍ جَزَاءً بِمَا كَانُوا يَعْمَلُونَ} [السجدة 17] يَأْتِيهِمْ مِنْهَا كُلَّ يَوْمٍ تُحْفَةٌ

✧ The Throne of Allah was upon the water, then He took for Himself a screen, then He took another screen below it, until He covered it with a single pearl.” So the Mighty One, from His saying, said: {And besides these two are two gardens} (55:62). He said: “And it is the one regarding which creation does not know what is in it.” He said: And it is the one about which Allah ﷻ said: {And no soul knows what has been hidden for them of comfort for eyes as reward for what they used to do} (32:17). Every day a gift comes to them from it.
