أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو زَكَرِيَّا يَحْيَى بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَبْدِ السَّلَامِ ثنا إِسْحَاقُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ الْحَنْظَلِيُّ أَنْبَأَ عَمْرُو بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْقُرَشِيُّ ثنا خَلَّادُ بْنُ مُسْلِمٍ الصَّفَّارُ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ قَيْسٍ الْمُلَائِيِّ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مُرَّةَ عَنْ مُصْعَبِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ عَنْ سَعْدِ بْنِ أَبِي وَقَّاصٍ فِي قَوْلِ اللَّهِ ﷻ {نَحْنُ نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ أَحْسَنَ الْقَصَصِ} [يوسف 3] الْآيَةُ قَالَ
نَزَلَ الْقُرْآنُ عَلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَتَلَا عَلَيْهِمْ زَمَانًا فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَوْ قَصَصْتَ عَلَيْنَا فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ ﷻ {الر تِلْكَ آيَاتُ الْكِتَابِ الْمُبِينِ} [يوسف 1] تَلَا إِلَى قَوْلِهِ {نَحْنُ نَقُصُّ عَلَيْكَ أَحْسَنَ الْقَصَصِ} [يوسف 3] الْآيَةُ فَتَلَا عَلَيْهِمْ زَمَانًا فَقَالُوا يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ لَوْ حَدَّثَتْنَا فَأَنْزَلَ اللَّهُ ﷻ {اللَّهُ نَزَّلَ أَحْسَنَ الْحَدِيثِ كِتَابًا مُتَشَابِهًا} [الزمر 23] الْآيَةُ كُلُّ ذَلِكَ يُؤْمَرُ بِالْقُرْآنِ
Translation

✧ The Quran was revealed to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and he recited it to them for a time. They said, "O Messenger of Allah, if only you would tell us stories." So Allah ﷻ sent down {Alif Lam Ra. These are the verses of the clear Book} [Yusuf 1]. He recited until His saying {We relate to you the best of stories} [Yusuf 3], the verse. He recited to them for a time, and they said, "O Messenger of Allah, if only you would speak to us." So Allah ﷻ sent down {Allah has sent down the best of speech, a book consistent within itself} [al-Zumar 23], the verse. All of that is commanded with the Quran.

«هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحُ الْإِسْنَادِ وَلَمْ يُخْرِجَاهُ» صحيح
