أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ الزَّاهِدُ ثنا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مِهْرَانَ ثنا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى ثنا يُونُسُ بْنُ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ أَبِي بُرْدَةَ عَنْ أَبِي مُوسَى سَمِعَ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يَقُولُ

«تُسْتَأْمَرُ الْيَتِيمَةُ فِي نَفْسِهَا فَإِنْ سَكَتَتْ فَهُوَ رِضَاهَا وَإِنْ كَرِهَتْ فَلَا كُرْهَ عَلَيْهَا»

✧ The Prophet ﷺ heard saying, "The orphan girl is consulted regarding herself. If she remains silent, it is her consent. And if she disagrees, no compulsion is on her."
