أَخْبَرَنَا أَحْمَدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ مِهْرَانَ ثنا أَبِي ثنا هَارُونُ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْأَيْلِيُّ ثنا ابْنُ وَهْبٍ حَدَّثَنِي حُيَيٌّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَمْرٍو عَنْ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ قَالَ

«إِنَّ فِي الْجَنَّةِ غُرَفًا يُرَى ظَاهِرُهَا مِنْ بَاطِنِهَا وَبَاطِنُهَا مِنْ ظَاهِرِهَا» فَقَالَ أَبُو مَالِكٍ الْأَشْعَرِيُّ لِمَنْ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ؟ قَالَ «لِمَنْ أَطَابَ الْكَلَامَ وَأَطْعَمَ الطَّعَامَ وَبَاتَ قَائِمًا وَالنَّاسُ نِيَامٌ»

✧ “In Paradise there are chambers whose outside is seen from their inside and whose inside is seen from their outside.” Abu Malik al-Ashʿari said, “For whom, O Messenger of Allah?” He said, “For one who makes his speech good, feeds food, and spends the night standing while people are asleep.”
