machine translationThis is an authentic (ṣaḥīḥ) hadith according to the criterion of Muslim, but the two of them (al-Bukhārī and Muslim) did not include it, because Sufyān b. ʿUyaynah and Maʿmar b. Rāshid transmitted it as a statement of the Companion (mawqūf) from Ibrāhīm b. Maysarah, from Ibn ʿAbbās.
