✧ Abu Talha was shooting on the day of Uhud in front of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, while the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was behind him. Abu Talha was an archer, and when he shot, the Prophet ﷺ would raise his person to see where his arrow fell. Abu Talha would raise his chest and say, "Like this, may my father and mother be your ransom, O Messenger of Allah, let no arrow strike you; my neck is before your neck." Abu Talha would offer himself before the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, saying, "O Messenger of Allah, I am the most sturdy of my people, so command me with whatever you wish."
