أَخْبَرَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ الْخُزَاعِيُّ بِمَكَّةَ ثنا أَبُو يَحْيَى بْنُ أَبِي مَسَرَّةَ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْمُقْرِئُ ثنا كَهْمَسُ بْنُ الْحَسَنِ ثنا مُصْعَبُ بْنُ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ قَالَ قَالَ عُثْمَانُ بْنُ عَفَّانَ وَهُوَ يَخْطُبُ عَلَى الْمِنْبَرِ إِنِّي أُحَدِّثُكُمْ حَدِيثًا لَمْ يَمْنَعْنِي أَنْ أُحَدِّثَكُمْ بِهِ إِلَّا الضِّنُّ بِكُمْ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ
«حَرَسُ لَيْلَةٍ فِي سَبِيلِ اللَّهِ أَفْضَلُ مِنْ أَلْفِ لَيْلَةٍ يُقَامُ لَيْلُهَا وَيُصَامُ نَهَارُهَا»
