✧ As for the saying of Abu Hurayrah

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْحَمِيدِ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ بِمَكَّةَ ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُبَارَكٍ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ثنا يَزِيدُ بْنُ مُبَارَكٍ الصَّنْعَانِيُّ ثنا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ ثَوْرٍ عَنِ ابْنِ جُرَيْج عَنْ أَبِي الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ جَابِرٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ

«بِمَ يَسْتَحِلُّ أَحَدُكُمْ مَالَ أَخِيهِ إِنْ أَصَابَتْهُ جَائِحَةٌ مِنَ السَّمَاءِ؟»

  • هَذَا حَدِيثٌ صَحِيحٌ عَلَى شَرْطِ الشَّيْخَيْنِ وَالْأَصْلُ فِي هَذَا الْبَابِ حَدِيثُ مَالِكِ بْنِ أَنَسٍ عَنْ حُمَيْدٍ الطَّوِيلِ الَّذِيعلى شرط البخاري ومسلم كذا قال على شرط مسلم

    machine translationThis is an authentic (ṣaḥīḥ) hadith meeting the criteria of the two Shaykhs, and the basis in this chapter is the hadith of Mālik b. Anas from Ḥumayd al-Ṭawīl, which [unclear] meets the criteria of al-Bukhārī and Muslim. Thus he said: "according to the criteria of Muslim."
