حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرِ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْفَقِيهُ أَنْبَأَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ شَاذَانَ الْجَوْهَرِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا مُعَلَّى بْنُ مَنْصُورٍ أَنْبَأَ إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ زَكَرِيَّا أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ خُثَيْمٍ حَدَّثَهُمْ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ رِفَاعَةَ بْنِ رَافِعِ الزُّرَقِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ
أَنَّهُ خَرَجَ مَعَ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِلَى الْمُصَلَّى بِالْمَدِينَةِ فَوَجَدَ النَّاسَ يَتَبَايَعُونَ فَقَالَ «يَا مَعْشَرَ التُّجَّارِ» فَاسْتَجَابُوا لَهُ وَرَفَعُوا أَبْصَارَهُمْ وَأَعْنَاقَهُمْ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ «إِنَّ التُّجَّارَ يُبْعَثُونَ يَوْمَ الْقِيَامَةِ فُجَّارًا إِلَّا مَنِ اتَّقَى وَبَرَّ وَصَدَقَ»

✧ He went out with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to the prayer place in Madinah, and he found the people trading. He said: "O company of merchants," and they responded to him, raising their eyes and necks toward the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. He said: "Indeed, the merchants will be resurrected on the Day of Resurrection as wicked, except those who feared Allah, acted righteously, and spoke the truth."
