أَخْبَرَنَا بَكْرُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الصَّيْرَفِيُّ بِمَرْوَ ثنا عَبْدُ الصَّمَدِ بْنُ الْفَضْلِ ثنا عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ يَزِيدَ الْمُقْرِئُ ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي أَيُّوبَ حَدَّثَنِي عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ الْوَلِيدِ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ حُجَيْرَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ

أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ وَصَّى سَلْمَانَ الْخَيْرِ فَقَالَ يَا سَلْمَانُ إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يُرِيدُ أَنْ يَمْنَحَكَ كَلِمَاتٍ تَسْأَلُهُنَّ الرَّحْمَنَ وَتَرْغَبُ إِلَيْهِ فِيهِنَّ وَتَدْعُو بِهِنَّ فِي اللَّيْلِ وَالنَّهَارِ قُلْ اللَّهُمَّ إِنِّي أَسْأَلُكَ صِحَّةً فِي إِيمَانٍ وَإِيمَانًا فِي حُسْنِ خُلُقٍ وَنَجَاحًا يَتْبَعُهُ فَلَاحٌ وَرَحْمَةً مِنْكَ وَعَافِيَةً وَمَغْفِرَةً مِنْكَ وَرِضْوَانًا

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ advised Salman al-Khayr, saying: 'O Salman, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ wants to grant you words by which you ask the Most Merciful, desire Him, and supplicate with them night and day. Say: O Allah, I ask You for health in faith, faith in good character, success followed by prosperity, mercy from You, well-being, forgiveness from You, and good pleasure.'
