أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ الْبَغْدَادِيُّ ثنا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ الْقَاضِي ثنا عَلِيُّ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ثنا سُفْيَانُ وَحَدَّثَنِي عَلِيُّ بْنُ عِيسَى وَاللَّفْظُ لَهُ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي طَالِبٍ ثنا ابْنُ أَبِي عُمَرَ ثنا سُفْيَانُ قَالَ حَفِظْتُهُ مِنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ صَفْوَانَ عَنْ خَالِهِ يَزِيدَ بْنِ شَيْبَانَ قَالَ كُنَّا وُقُوفًا مِنْ وَرَاءِ الْمَوْقِفِ مَوْقِفًا يَتَبَاعَدُهُ عَمْرٌو مِنَ الْإِمَامِ فَأَتَانَا ابْنُ مِرْبَعٍ الْأَنْصَارِيُّ فَقَالَ

إِنِّي رَسُولُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ﷺ إِلَيْكُمْ يَقُولُ لَكُمْ «كُونُوا عَلَى مَشَاعِرِكُمْ هَذِهِ فَإِنَّكُمْ عَلَى إِرْثٍ مِنْ إِرْثِ إِبْرَاهِيمَ»

✧ I am the messenger of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to you. He says to you, "Remain at these sacred sites of yours, for you are upon an inheritance from the inheritance of Ibrahim."
