أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْحَسَنِ عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عُقْبَةَ الشَّيْبَانِيُّ بِالْكُوفَةِ ثنا إِبْرَاهِيمُ بْنُ أَبِي الْعَنْبَسِ الْقَاضِي ثنا سَعِيدُ بْنُ عُثْمَانَ الْخَرَّازُ ثنا عَبْدُ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنُ سَعِيدٍ الْمُؤَذِّنُ ثنا فِطْرُ بْنُ خَلِيفَةَ عَنْ أَبِي الطُّفَيْلٍ عَنْ عَلِيٍّ وَعَمَّارٍ «أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ

كَانَ يَجْهَرُ فِي الْمَكْتُوبَاتِ بِبِسْمِ اللَّهِ الرَّحْمَنِ الرَّحِيمِ وَكَانَ يَقْنُتُ فِي صَلَاةِ الْفَجْرِ وَكَانَ يُكَبِّرُ مِنْ يَوْمِ عَرَفَةَ صَلَاةَ الْغَدَاةِ وَيَقْطَعُهَا صَلَاةَ الْعَصْرِ آخِرَ أَيَّامِ التَّشْرِيقِ»

Translation

✧ He used to recite aloud 'In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful' in the obligatory prayers, and he used to perform qunūt in the dawn prayer, and he used to say takbīr from the day of ʿArafah at the dawn prayer and stop it at the ʿAṣr prayer on the last of the days of Tashrīq.
