machine translationThis is an authentic (ṣaḥīḥ) hadith meeting the criterion of the two Shaykhs (al-Bukhārī and Muslim), yet they did not transmit it with this wording. They only agreed upon the hadith of Ibn ʿUmar concerning the two rakʿahs in his house, and Muslim alone [reported]: "He used to pray four after the Friday prayer." Ibn Jurayj has corroborated Yazīd b. Abī Ḥabīb in his narration from ʿAṭāʾ in this way. [It is] on their criterion.
