✧ The time of women and what is said about it

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ حَدَّثَنَا يُونُسُ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ
فِي النُّفَسَاءِ «تُمْسِكُ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ أَرْبَعِينَ يَوْمًا فَإِنْ رَأَتِ الطُّهْرَ فَذَاكَ وَإِنْ لَمْ تَرَ الطُّهْرَ أَمْسَكَتْ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ أَيَّامًا خَمْسًا سِتًّا فَإِنْ طَهُرَتْ فَذَاكَ وَإِلَّا أَمْسَكَتْ عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ مَا بَيْنَهَا وَبَيْنَ الْخَمْسِينَ فَإِنْ طَهُرَتْ فَذَاكَ وَإِلَّا فَهِيَ مُسْتَحَاضَةٌ»

✧ Regarding the postpartum woman: "She refrains from prayer for forty days. If she sees purity, then that is it; and if she does not see purity, she refrains from prayer for some days, five or six. If she becomes pure, then that is it; otherwise she refrains from prayer for what is between her and fifty. If she becomes pure, then that is it; otherwise she is mustahadah (a woman with prolonged bleeding)."
