أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ عُثْمَانَ بْنِ الْأَسْوَدِ قَالَ سَأَلْتُ مُجَاهِدًا
عَنْ امْرَأَتِي رَأَتْ دَمًا وَأَنَا أُرَاهَا حَامِلًا؟ قَالَ ذَلِكَ غَيْضُ الْأَرْحَامِ {اللَّهُ يَعْلَمُ مَا تَحْمِلُ كُلُّ أُنْثَى وَمَا تَغِيضُ الْأَرْحَامُ وَمَا تَزْدَادُ} [الرعد 8] فَمَا غَاضَتْ مِنْ شَيْءٍ زَادَتْ مِثْلَهُ فِي الْحَمْلِ
Translation

✧ From my wife: she saw blood while I consider her pregnant. He said: That is the waning of the wombs. {Allah knows what every female carries and what the wombs wane and increase} [Al-Ra'd 8]. Whatever they wane of anything, they increase the like of it in pregnancy.
