أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عِيسَى حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ عُلَيَّةَ أَنبَأَنَا خَالِدٌ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ سِيرِينَ قَالَ
اسْتُحِيضَتْ امْرَأَةٌ مِنْ آلِ أَنَسٍ فَأَمَرُونِي فَسَأَلْتُ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ فَقَالَ «أَمَّا مَا رَأَتِ الدَّمَ الْبَحْرَانِيَّ فَلَا تُصَلِّي فَإِذَا رَأَتِ الطُّهْرَ وَلَوْ سَاعَةً مِنْ نَهَارٍ فَلْتَغْتَسِلْ وَلْتُصَلِّ»
Translation

✧ A woman from the family of Anas experienced prolonged non-menstrual bleeding. They sent me to ask Ibn Abbas, so I asked him. He said, “As long as she sees the abundant dark blood, she should not pray. When she sees purity, even for an hour of the day, she should perform ghusl and pray.”
