✧ In the death of the Prophet ﷺ

أَخْبَرَنَا الْحَكَمُ بْنُ مُوسَى حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَمْزَةَ عَنِ الْأَوْزَاعِيِّ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ قَالَ

قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ أَلَا نَحْجُبُكَ؟ فَقَالَ «لَا دَعُوهُمْ يَطَؤُونَ عَقِبِي وَأَطَأُ أَعْقَابَهُمْ حَتَّى يُرِيحَنِي اللَّهُ مِنْهُمْ»

Translation
