✧ Washing twice, twice

حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ حَسَّانَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ وَخَالِدُ بْنُ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ يَحْيَى الْمَازِنِيِّ عَنْ أَبِيهِ

أَنَّ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ زَيْدٍ دَعَا بِتَوْرٍ مِنْ مَاءٍ فَأَكْفَأَه عَلَى يَدَيْهِ فَغَسَلَهُمَا ثَلَاثَ مَرَّاتٍ وَغَسَلَ وَجْهَهُ ثَلَاثًا وَيَدَيْهِ إِلَى الْمِرْفَقَيْنِ مَرَّتَيْنِ مَرَّتَيْنِ ثُمَّ قَالَ هَكَذَا رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَتَوَضَّأُ

Translation

✧ Abdullah b. Zayd called for a vessel of water and poured it over his hands, washing them three times. He washed his face three times and his hands up to the elbows twice each. Then he said, "This is how I saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ perform ablution."
