أَخْبَرَنَا زَكَرِيَّا بْنُ عَدِيٍّ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ عَمْرٍو عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَقِيلٍ عَنِ الرُّبَيِّعِ بِنْتِ مُعَوِّذِ بْنِ عَفْرَاءَ قَالَتْ

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ يَأْتِينَا فِي مَنْزِلِنَا «فَآخُذُ مِيضَأَةً لَنَا تَكُونُ مُدًّا وَثُلُثَ مُدٍّ أَوْ رُبُعَ مُدٍّ فَأَسْكُبُ عَلَيْهِ فَيَتَوَضَّأُ ثَلَاثًا ثَلَاثًا»

Translation

  4. al-Rubayyiʿ Bint Muʿawwidh b. ʿAfrāʾ

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ used to come to us in our home. I would take a vessel of ours, which held a mudd and a third, or a quarter of a mudd, and pour water for him, and he would perform ablution washing each part three times.
