أَخْبَرَنَا الْمُعَلَّى بْنُ أَسَدٍ حَدَّثَنَا سَلَّامٌ هُوَ ابْنُ أَبِي مُطِيعٍ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا الْهَزْهَازِ يُحَدِّثُ عَنِ الضَّحَّاكِ قَالَ قَالَ عَبْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مَسْعُودٍ
«اغْدُ عَالِمًا أَوْ مُتَعَلِّمًا وَلَا خَيْرَ فِيمَا سِوَاهُمَا»
