✧ The Virtue of Those Who Read the Quran

أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو الْمُغِيرَةِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ عَنْ خَالِدِ بْنِ مَعْدَانَ قَالَ

«إِنَّ قَارِئَ الْقُرْآنِ وَالْمُتَعَلِّمَ تُصَلِّي عَلَيْهِمُ الْمَلَائِكَةُ حَتَّى يَخْتِمُوا السُّورَةَ فَإِذَا أَقْرَأَ أَحَدُكُمُ السُّورَةَ فَلْيُؤَخِّرْ مِنْهَا آيَتَيْنِ حَتَّى يَخْتِمَهَا مِنْ آخِرِ النَّهَارِ كَيْ مَا تُصَلِّي الْمَلَائِكَةُ عَلَى الْقَارِئِ وَالْمُقْرِئِ مِنْ أَوَّلِ النَّهَارِ إِلَى آخِرِهِ»

Translation

✧ «Indeed the reciter of the Quran and the learner—the angels send blessings upon them until they finish the surah. So when one of you recites a surah, let him delay two verses from it until he finishes it at the end of the day, so that the angels send blessings upon the reciter and the teacher from the beginning of the day to its end.»
