✧ I entered upon the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was suffering from a fever. I placed my hand on him and said, 'O Messenger of Allah, you have a severe fever.' He said, 'Indeed I suffer a fever like two men of you.' I said, 'Is that because you have twice the reward?' He said, 'Yes, and no Muslim is afflicted with any harm—illness or what is other than that—except that sins are shed from him just as a tree sheds its leaves.'
