حَدَّثَنَا مُسْلِمُ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ حَدَّثَنَا سَعِيدُ بْنُ أَبِي كَعْبٍ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ الْعَبْدِيُّ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي مُوسَى بْنُ مَيْسَرَةَ الْعَبْدِيُّ عَنْ أَنَسِ بْنِ مَالِكٍ قَالَ
جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى النَّبِيِّ ﷺ فَقَالَ لَهُ يَا نَبِيَّ اللَّهِ إِنِّي أُرِيدُ السَّفَرَ فَقَالَ لَهُ «مَتَى؟» قَالَ غَدًا إِنْ شَاءَ اللَّهُ قَالَ فَأَتَاهُ فَأَخَذَ بِيَدِهِ فَقَالَ لَهُ «فِي حِفْظِ اللَّهِ وَفِي كَنَفِهِ زَوَّدَكَ اللَّهُ التَّقْوَى وَغَفَرَ لَكَ ذَنْبَكَ وَوَجَّهَكَ لِلْخَيْرِ أَيْنَمَا تَوَخَّيْتَ أَوْ أَيْنَمَا تَوَجَّهْتَ»
Translation

✧ A man came to the Prophet ﷺ and said to him, “O Prophet of Allah, I intend to travel.” He said to him, “When?” He said, “Tomorrow, if Allah wills.” He came to him, took his hand, and said to him, “In Allah’s keeping and in His protection. May Allah provide you with piety, forgive you your sin, and direct you to good wherever you aim or wherever you turn.”
