✧ In the year Makkah was conquered, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ stood and said, "Indeed, Allah held back the elephant from Makkah and gave authority over its people to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and the believers. Verily, it was not lawful for anyone before me, nor will it be lawful for anyone after me. Verily, it is sacred at this very hour of mine; its fresh herbage is not to be cut, its trees are not to be lopped, and its fallen objects are not to be picked up except by one who announces them."
