✧ We were with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in the expedition of Hunayn on a scorching, intensely hot day. We dismounted beneath the shade of the trees. He mentioned the story, then he took a handful of dust. He said: The one who was closer to him than I was told me that he threw it in their faces and said: "May the faces be disfigured!" So Allah routed the polytheists. Ya'la said: Their sons told me that their fathers said: Not one of us remained but his eyes and mouth were filled with dust.
