✧ Who entered someone's house without their permission?

أَخْبَرَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللَّهِ بْنُ مُوسَى عَنْ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ الزُّهْرِيِّ عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ سَعْدٍ قَالَ

بَيْنَمَا رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ فِي حُجْرَةٍ وَمَعَهُ مِدْرًى يَحُكُّ بِهِ رَأْسَهُ اطَّلَعَ عَلَيْهِ رَجُلٌ فَقَالَ لَهُ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ «لَوْ أَعْلَمُ أَنَّكَ تَنْظُرُ لَقُمْتُ حَتَّى أَطْعَنَ بِهِ عَيْنَيْكَ إِنَّمَا جُعِلَ الْإِذْنُ مِنْ أَجْلِ النَّظَرِ»

Translation

✧ While the Messenger of Allah ﷺ was in a room, and with him was a comb with which he was scratching his head, a man looked in upon him. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said to him: “If I knew that you were looking, I would have thrust it into your eyes. Permission was made only for the sake of looking.”
