✧ It reached the Messenger of Allah ﷺ that Sa'd b. 'Ubadah said, "If I found a man with her, I would strike her with the sword, not with the flat side." So the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "Do you marvel at the jealousy of Sa'd? I am more jealous than Sa'd, and Allah is more jealous than I. For that reason He forbade immoral deeds, both apparent and hidden. And no person is more jealous than Allah, and nothing is more beloved to Him than excuses. For that reason He sent the prophets as bearers of glad tidings and warners. And no person loves praise more than Allah; for that reason He promised Paradise."
