Sunan ad-Darimi 2237

✧ The bachelor marries her against her will, while she is unwilling.

أَخْبَرَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ هَارُونَ أَنْبَأَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ سَعِيدٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ الْقَاسِمَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ أَنَّهُ سَمِعَ عَبْدَ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنَ يَزِيدَ وَمُجَمِّعَ بْنَ يَزِيدَ الْأَنْصَارِيَّيْنِ حَدَّثَاهُ

أَنَّ رَجُلًا مِنْهُمْ مِنَ الْأَنْصَارِ يُدْعَى خِذَامًا «أَنْكَحَ بِنْتًا لَهُ فَكَرِهَتْ نِكَاحَ أَبِيهَا» فَأَتَتْ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ﷺ فَذَكَرَتْ ذَلِكَ لَهُ فَرَدَّ عَنْهَا نِكَاحَ أَبِيهَا فَنَكَحَتْ أَبَا لُبَابَةَ بْنَ عَبْدِ الْمُنْذِرِ

✧ A man from among the Ansar called Khidham married off a daughter of his, and she disliked the marriage arranged by her father. She came to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ and mentioned that to him, so he annulled her father's marriage, and she married Abu Lubabah b. 'Abd al-Mundhir.
