✧ In the detestation/dislike of taking an opinion

أَخْبَرَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ عُيَيْنَةَ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ الْفَزَارِيِّ عَنْ أَسْلَمَ الْمِنْقَرِيِّ عَنْ بِلَادِ بْنِ عِصْمَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ عَبْدَ اللَّهِ بْنَ مَسْعُودٍ يَقُولُ وَكَانَ إِذَا كَانَ عَشِيَّةَ الْخَمِيسِ ليْلةِ الْجُمُعَةِ قَامَ فَقَالَ

«إِنَّ أَصْدَقَ الْقَوْلِ قَوْلُ اللَّهِ ﷻ وَإِنَّ أَحْسَنَ الْهَدْيِ هَدْيُ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ وَالشَّقِيُّ مَنْ شَقِيَ فِي بَطْنِ أُمِّهِ وَإِنَّ شَرَّ الرَّوَايَا رَوَايَا الْكَذِبِ وَشَرَّ الْأُمُورِ مُحْدَثَاتُهَا وَكُلَّ مَا هُوَ آتٍ قَرِيبٌ»

✧ The most truthful speech is the speech of Allah ﷻ, and the best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad ﷺ. The wretched is he who is wretched in his mother's womb. The worst of narrations are the narrations of falsehood, and the worst of matters are their newly invented ones, and everything that is coming is near.
