أَخْبَرَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ بْنُ أَبَانَ أَخْبَرَنِي مُحَمَّدٌ هُوَ ابْنُ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ مَيْمُونٍ أَبِي حَمْزَةَ قَالَ
قَالَ لِي إِبْرَاهِيمُ يَا أَبَا حَمْزَةَ «وَاللَّهِ لَقَدْ تَكَلَّمْتُ وَلَوْ وَجَدْتُ بُدًّا مَا تَكَلَّمْتُ وَإِنَّ زَمَانًا أَكُونُ فِيهِ فَقِيهَ أَهْلِ الْكُوفَةِ زَمَانُ سُوءٍ»
