حَدَّثَنَا بِشْرُ بْنُ الْحَكَمِ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ مَيْمُونٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ
سَأَلْتُهُ عَنْ رَجُلٍ أَدْرَكَهُ رَمَضَانَانِ فَقَالَ أَكَانَ أَوْ لَمْ يَكُنْ؟ قَالَ لَمْ يَكُنْ بَعْدُ قَالَ «اتْرُكْ بَلِيَّتَهُ حَتَّى تَنْزِلَ» قَالَ فَدَلَّسْنَا لَهُ رَجُلًا فَقَالَ قَدْ كَانَ فَقَالَ يُطْعِمُ عَنِ الْأَوَّلِ مِنْهُمَا ثَلَاثِينَ مِسْكِينًا لِكُلِّ يَوْمٍ مِسْكِينٌ

✧ I asked him about a man who had two Ramaḍāns overtake him (i.e., with missed fasts). He said: “Has it occurred or not yet?” I said: “It has not yet occurred.” He said: “Leave his calamity until it descends.” Then we concealed a man for him, and he said: “It has occurred.” So he said: “He feeds thirty poor people for the first of them, one poor person for each day.”
