✧ When the call to prayer is given, Satan turns away, passing wind so that he does not hear the call. When the call is finished, he returns. When the iqāmah is given, he turns away, and when the iqāmah is finished, he returns, until he whispers between a man and his self, saying, “Remember such-and-such, remember such-and-such,” something he had not been remembering, until the man remains not knowing how much he has prayed. So if one of you does not know whether he prayed three or four, let him prostrate twice while sitting.
