machine translationʿAmr b. Dīnār narrates it, and there is disagreement concerning him. ʿAbd al-Ghanī b. Rifāʿah narrated it from Ibn ʿUyaynah, from ʿAmr, from Abū Salamah, from his father, while others transmitted it from Ibn ʿUyaynah as a mursal report (mursal). Ibn Abī Ḥafṣah narrated it from ʿAmr, from Abū Salamah, from Abū Hurayrah. Likewise al-Dahnī narrated it from Abū Salamah, from Abū Hurayrah. The most likely to be correct is the statement of the one who said: from al-Zuhrī, from Abū Salamah, from Abū Hurayrah, and from ʿAmr b. Dīnār, from Abū Salamah, as a mursal report (mursal).
